Dropped my truck off at the dealer ship for some diagnostics. Unfortunately I had misread the date, wrong Tuesday. I was contacted early and since I could get by without it for a few days, the service agent stated that they would try and fit it in within next couple days. Later the next day, he contacted my again and had done the diagnostics. I was very surprised it was done so quickly and was able to pick up my truck. I was very pleased I didn't have to wait til the next week. So far Union Park GMC has been doing right by me and I haven't found anything to complain about. I can definitely recommend them as a reliable service department.

He went above and beyond to get my car serviced for me in my timeframe. Then he was kind enough to give me updates throughout the process so I could coordinate everything with my schedule. An awesome experience! I always get my car serviced there but this was the first time I ever needed things done in a specific way. Again Greg was great. Highly recommended!

I ordered a step kit for my GMC Canyon elevation from their parts department. I called a week an half later to find the part had came in and no called me to let me know the part had arrived. Made the part to have it put on only to find it was the wrong kit for my truck. This time a called the service department see if the kit had arrived after some time had passed only find no had called them to let them know the step kit had arrived. Set appointment for 7/16/25 for 7:30 am, arrived at appointed time. I received a call about 4 pm telling me it was the wrong kit for my truck. They are so sorry they will reorder and get the right kit in. I went to the parts department and ask for my money back. Then I am told they have to send me check, l informed the person you took the money from my credit card but it back on my credit card. The company can only refund in a check. We are living in the electronic age if you can take it from my credit card you can put it back. If this is how GMC does business than I need to trade this truck in for a Ford with running boards installed. I sure I get a good deal on a 2021 GMC with 9000 miles

My car sa parked at your dealership for 3 hours and no service was performed. I received a call from your dealership (Betty) and she said that they had received the wrong part for my car and they were able to service my car. I asked her why my car sat for 3 hours (in the same space I parked it in) without anyone realizing that they had the wrong part? She responded, we had 25 appointments today. I think it was very unprofessional and ridiculous that my car sat for 3 hours (without anyone touching my car, when the service would have taken 3-4 hours to complete) before someone realized that you all had the wrong part. And I had an appointment that I made the week before. So, an entire day wasted (my time is just as important as anyone else's) without any service being done to my car. I was very upset!

I was greeted by being told that my appointment wasn’t in their system, even though I made it through the MYGMC app. Proceeded to tell me next time call. After that, I told him I made my oil change & 7500 mileage check. They told me it costs generally $91, but today is free since it’s my first visit with new car. I let them know that my Acadia’s brake warning light & traction system has also turned on, and they responded complacent. The waiting room was not very welcoming, and I felt uncomfortable waiting with the men at the front computers so I went into BMW to wait. When I picked up vehicle, I asked about the brake light, and they told me i needed to make another appt bc there wasn’t any diagnostic time that day. They said I’d have to come back with a new appointment, even though my brake light was on. I took it to the GMC that I bought from in NJ, and they let me know that I couldn’t drive my car out since the brake light is on, and sent me home with a complementary vehicle. I was upset to hear that it was not safe for me to drive, and the initial GMC in DE told me to make another appt bc appointment to come back.

We requested to have service completed for our Acadia that would pair a remote back up with the car. Communication was not clear that the dealership would need both remotes at the time of the repair, so when we got the car back the malfunctioning remote is now paired with the car and working, however the originally working remote is now un-paired. Now we have another appointment and are told we will be charged for this work to be corrected, when the communication was not clearly made that the dealership would need both remotes to properly complete the work. I do not think it is right that we will be inconvenienced a second time to fix this problem and we will be charged on top of that—all due to unclear communication from the dealership.

I was told by Beth that I could drop off my car at 7 am ( on my day off) and my car would be done by noon. She went on to say how great the technicians have been doing. Noon rolled around and no call . I texted and called the number I was provided with no return call or text. 3 pm rolls around and a service technician said my car was not looked at and they would need the car another day. Totally unacceptable to get a promise by noon and now the car was not looked at all. I asked to speak with Mike that is whose name was on the manager voicemail. I was told he was no longer there and I would need to speak to Jeremy. He got on the phone after yelling my concern to him and telling him I was going to contact the owners, he then said he would give me a loaner until they could look at the car. I got the loaner. The next day at 10 am I got a call from Jeremy stating they couldn’t fix the problem. This isn’t the first bad encounter I had with them. What really made me upset was when I told him I. Was going to contact the owners he said no worries. I placed a call to him and the service advisor line since then and no call back. Horrible service.

This rating is skewed due to the loaner car issue. (see further in the review) While the Asst Service mgr. - Brandon did his best to help and was very nice, (5 Stars) the overall experience was not great at all. I had a Wednesday appointment and dropped the car off a day earlier (Tuesday). I advised them of the electrical issue and adamantly expressed to them it was not a key fob issue (which is what they and another previous GMC service wanted to go to first.) I knew it was going to take a few days to figure out the problem, but what I did not expect was them getting the car back on the following Friday (9 days later not including the weekend). The main problem with that was THEY HAVE NO LOANER CARS WHILE YOURS IS BEING WORKED ON!!!!!! unless you have factory warranty and only 9 cars available. This must be a Delaware/Maryland thing as I've always been given the option of a loaner car in NJ from the dealerships. This was even for oil changes etc if they could not get to my car early. Even after the 9 days the issue was not fixed, and I still ended up with a bill. Brandon did work with me on the bill but I would like to have the electrical issue fixed. Now I still need to come back but I advised them if I can't get a loaner car while it's being worked on I would have to wait for another month to bring by. My last option will be to go all the way back to NJ where they offer and have a well-stocked amount of loaner cars. **** This service was at least 10 times better than the last GMC dealership (I.G. Burton group/Anchor Buick GMC) in Elkton, MD who had my car for 4 days and said the electrical issue was fixed by " putting a new battery in the key fob". 4 days and that's the answer I got from them. Yes, I put their name out there.

1: I booked an appt on Wednesday 2/25 for Friday 2/27. When I arrived for my appt I was told my appt was cancelled for unknown reasons. 2: I was told if I could come back Monday 3/2 they would still honor my $25 discount that would have expired on 2/28 & accommodate me with an Uber back home so that I do not have to sit and wait in the lobby. When I arrived for my rescheduled appt I was then told they were unable to send me home in an uber after coming only prepared to drop my car off. I was left to wait for a service I was told I would NOT have to sit and wait for. 3: After services were complete the same guy who told me he would honor my coupon then told me he could not apply it until I had to remind him of the conversation we had previously. Overall I was not happy with the my experience

A simple oil change took 4 1/2 hrs. Took it on at my scheduled appointment 7:20. Told them please pick me up around noon...they said "no problem". Checked car status at 11:15 and had not even been looked at. I was told they were short handed... This is the 2nd time within 3 months of needing their service I was told that. Why are they scheduling so many in one day if they only have 7 bays or not enough service techs? I have been a loyal customer with union park in both buying cars there and using their service but I feel if my car wasn't still under warranty, I would go elsewhere.
